Social Media...Do or Die

Sooo, there was sort of an epiphany this morning, that was clearly called..."Welcome to your new JOB" sort of thing.

I love working from home, I love meeting new people, I love writing about them, and I love helping folks connect with a larger audience...so what does that spell...Social Marketing.

It may sound quirky and like...a NOT real sort of job at ALL, but I assure you that it is, I have spent virtually 4 sleepless nights in a row NOT being a real social Marketer, and then this morning on the bus heading home, that's what I called myself, and POOF just like that I was one...for real though.

I've got a lot to learn and a ton to do...primarily set myself up as one, but yep...I've got one month, let's see what happens.

Free Events All Across The ATL

You know there is nothing like trying to build something that you KNOW will work if only you have some resources...read money. But if you live in the ATL like I do, there is no excuse for not being where the movers and shakers are.

So in light of all of the events that I found, look at my twitter board for like 4-5 completely free events being hosted in or around Atlanta that. Some I plan to be at, and others I simply tweeted about for your perusal. I am on MARTA, so each of these events are accessible by rapid transit, they just make take some time.

But, if you're like me and want to get out of the RAT Race...then I'll probably see you at one or more of these events.

Quick *AHA* Moments

Top three things I learned about myself this weekend:

1) I can manage on little to no sleep three days in a row...just as long as my sometimes monthly friend stays away that is =).....but

2) I suck when trying to Blog on minimal sleep, I spent my whole day reworking sucky posts because of spelling and grammatical errors....and since I was still sleepy it took WAAAAAAAYYYY too long to figure out!!!

3) There is such thing as too much of a great thing...I direct tweeted ABCiE and when she did that back I got 6...count em 6 seperate emails; text messages and Twitter Messaging notifications of this fact...THAT sorta sucked...sort of.

Mini Blog Within a Blog Part2- Product CampATL & Ben Deignan

I feel like I am about to fall out! Seriously!!!! It's amazing what one can get done when time is of the essence, and you actually want to go to every event.

In about 72 hours I have created a Blog for Christian Artist Alycia Levels, been to a Ben Deignan performance at the Mansion on Peachtree in Atlanta and then spent the whole day at this quandry of an event called Product Camp.
