I mean seriously....there was a concert, an interview, a cousin coming home from tim-buk-too, a basketball game, and fun in the sun!!! I've met some amazing people and managed to once again navigate all of this on limited sleep.
Beginning with Tuesday, I went to a free Small Business Seminar that I had seen on EventBrite. It was on Social Media Strategy. This led to me taking a new approach to everything I was doing and to me actually looking for opportunities to help small businesses to get on the ball themselves where social media is concerned.
Besides helping out Alycia Levels with her website...old and new; I have also updated a website for a former employer, you can see the difference yourself by checking out The Math Set and then checking out the site I built for them on Blogger...here. We are still trying to figure out the logistics of moving everyone from their old site to their new one, but things are definitely looking up.

Best song of this night?? See the YouTube vid below...:-) But the cut in with Jessica Dauler of Q100 singing the chorus was priceless...so seriously check this guy out when you get the chance! I mean even his fans have crazy good talent.

There's so much that I know I am leaving out, like Sr. Night at GSU, and Church on Sunday...and the like, but really I've just told you so, no complaints.
Then comes the great news!!! That, this whole thing has landed me as the official Social Media Marketing Manager for two new or fairly new companies I have mentioned. AnotherLevels Production w/ Alycia, and the Lance Tilton Foundation. I created my own jobs...and while I am volunteering in each of these ventures, enough cannot be said for the fact that less than two months ago I had never even heard of Social Media Marketing and now I am helping to build the brands of two separate entities and am helping a third to reach new markets. To say the least I am humbled by the entire thing and ecstatic!!!
So I have to give God my humble thanks, I know that there are plenty who do not believe, and I do not mind...I do, and to Him I give thanks. Without my unemployment I would never have stretched myself so far outside of my comfort zone to meet some of the amazing people who have come my way in just the past month an a half.
As a bonus...I have also been getting an amazing education in music. So if you have not already, check out Ben and Alycia...
And as always folks...Peace Love and Courage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
